Something New

Often times we find ourselves stuck in a rut. I couldn't love my job any more if I tried. But, I face burnout just like any other person would in a regular job. This is why days like this are so great. Today I got the chance to take a break, step out of my comfort zone, and try some new techniques. The shooting style you'll see on these images is something I've been wanting to try for a while. I still have a long way to go with honing the skill, but I have to say that I do love the overall look of it. Thanks so much to the couple and to Sallee School for putting together this photo workshop. While I couldn't stay for the whole thing, I was able to play for an hour or so.
