Sweet Baby James... a Year in the Making

I met Susan, James' mother in January of 2011. He was still a little peanut inside her tummy. Since then, James has gotten to visit the studio every 3 months. He's such an adorable little guy... and everyone knows I have a soft spot for the redheads. It's unbelievable how much he's grown in the last year. I look forward to many more years with Sweet Baby James.

Baby Matthew- a Birth Story

Last week I witnessed the miracle of birth. There really is nothing like being in the room when a new baby comes into the world, hearing those first little cries and seeing the love between Mom and Dad. Little Matthew seemed to take forever to come. For over two weeks, I waited for Kathy to call and tell me to head to the hospital. Little did I know, though, that baby Matthew had a plan of his own. Before last Thursday, February 16th had been a tragic day for the Camp family. A dreaded day that reminded them of pain and sorrow. Then, little Matthew blossomed into the world just before 10pm on February 16th. Whether is was the spirit of his aunt bringing him in, or God's way of bringing peace and grace to the family, we'll never know. Just that now, February 16th will forever remain a day of joy as the Camp/Bell families together celebrate life and the happiness in their new little bundle."Hey you with the pretty face, welcome to the human race."
