I am a photographer. By trade. By hobby. By everything. Any chance I get, I'm snapping and annoying everyone around me- most of whom have gotten used to this by now- the rest of whom will just have to resign themselves to the fact that, around me, nothing is off limits.
I love my husband. I've been with this man over half my life. We've learned, together, that life isn't always a bowl of cherries. We've overcome. We will continue to. No matter what- this man is my life partner. He's the love of my life. The father of my children. The one I want by my side when I'm feeling wonderful and like I've been hit by a truck. He's the one I miss during every wedding I shoot, and remember every time I see a groom take a bride by the hand.
I'm a Nikon girl. I carry the D700 and the D300 to all my shoots, and like to think about dabbling in film, though I never really take the time to do it. There is no such word as "overkill" in my vocabulary. Too much is never enough. That includes my shooting, my love of friends, family and clients, and living life in general.
I'm a bit of a mess, and not the skinniest girl on the block- and I'm OKAY WITH IT.
I love anything that includes the word "Chocolate", and live for having Girls Night, either at the local scrapbook store, or out to dinner- laughing and torturing the unknowing waiter or waitress (and that's okay, cuz we always tip really good). I'm a Gleek, a bookworm, a Facebook fanatic, a bit of a nerd, and sometimes an airhead.
I love to cook. I don't do it near enough, but I really love to do it. When I do, it's usually big and enough to feed a small village.
I'm a redhead. Through and through.
And of course, I'm a Carolina girl at heart, stuck in the big state of Texas. I've been told I have a funny accent.
